Summary

Most associations are unprepared to deal with modern cybersecurity threats that continue to grow in both number and sophistication. Many organization leaders and boards understand the need to reduce their risk exposure but lack a practical action plan to achieve that desired outcome. This jam-packed session will provide expert tools and guidance on how to assess your risk, how to identify gaps in your cybersecurity controls, how to train your staff to understand the threats and properly respond, and finally, how to prepare for the likelihood that something bad will happen. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of where you are today and be better prepared to face the uncertainty of tomorrow’s cyber-attacks.

    Learning objectives:
    • Identify how to assess your IT systems risk level
    • Identify how to develop a culture of cybersecurity within the organization
    • Identify the importance of developing a cyber security incident response plan
