Meeting Planning, Negotiating
Before any planner can focus on the exciting elements of bringing attendees together for a conference, there’s one daunting item that looms overhead: signing the venue contract. Not only is finding the right venue the biggest decision a planner will make, but it is also usually the biggest line item expense in the event budget.
Here to strengthen your negotiating skills and to clear up some of the murkiness in the decision making process is Gabriela Arisso of HelmsBriscoe. Topics may include tricky situations with F&B minimums, published rates, room block attrition, fees, new contract terminology and more.
